ReviewsFinally, a book on noni written for the general public, but based on current scientific research! Noni: The Complete Guide for Consumers and Growers provides authoritative, readable information on all aspects of noni production and consumption. In addition to referencing the current medical literature, the authors have extensive personal experience in cultivating and using noni; this is reflected in the comprehensive information included in the book. The text is illustrated throughout with an abundance of clear, vivid photographs. Whether you are a consumer or producer, you will find this book invaluable.Eileen Herring, Agriculture Librarian, University of Hawai‘i, ManoaSpecialists in botany, agriculture, and supplements marketing also will find the book useful. The Complete Guide belongs in the personal libraries of individuals interested in consuming and/or growing noni. Further, this book serves more generally as a model for critical and objective appraisal of botanical (and other) purported health products in the context of the global supplements and “herbal” medicines industry.Professor Nina L. Etkin, Pacific Center for Infectious Diseases - Medical School, University of Hawai'i, Manoa I recommend this book as offering an excellent appraisal of noni from the growing and processing of the juice, to a comprehensive view of the plant’s many and varied uses. It is a balanced offering of solid science and research into the holistic, complementary, and healing aspects of this traditional Pacific island remedy. It shows an in-depth understanding of this truly remarkable tropical plant. The information is well researched and up-to-date. This book is an essential reference for those involved in noni cultivation, health care professionals, and consumers who want to learn more about noni.Helen Russell, President, PINA - Pacific Island Noni Association (based in Fiji) Noni: The Complete Guide for Consumers and Growers, a full-color, how-to guide into the world of the tropical healing plant known as noni (Morinda citrifolia), is now shipping.
